The main activity of the union is presenting its members and representing their interest in national governmental bodies, economic chamber, and other self-governing or public law associations. Besides this, it performs cooperative auditing, provides information, consults in legal, economic, and organizational aspects, prepares trainings of cooperative members, takes care of relations with outside publics, and is an important agent in the area of representing Slovene agriculture in the European environment.
